My name is CV Henriette. I am a Writer, Photographer and Astrologer, based in Detroit, Michigan. 

The best parts of my story begin when I enrolled at Wayne State University, where I studied English Literature and Creative Writing.  Sometime during my studies I met a man named Larry Mongo, who owned a speakeasy of sorts named Cafe d'Mongo—and my life was forever changed. 

From him I learned the art of Sun Sign Astrology and entertaining people. Under his tutelage, I became a master of saving a synagogue and throwing parties, eventually starting my own ramshackle food truck-turned restaurant named Takoi. And, no, I wasn't the chef. I was in charge of all the other things. Like running social and training guides (aka servers). 

Fun fact: we launched with a billboard campaign in NYC, Detroit Now Hiring.

After leaving day-to-day restaurant operations, I moved to LA, ramped up my astrology studies, and became the Director of Content for Detroitisit.com. At the same time. Here I finally had the opportunity to put that writing degree to use, while interviewing many of my ultime heros. Like Devendra Banhart and Allee Willis. 

In 2018 I returned to Detroit to start ART of the ZODIAC, where I currently provide astrological consultation and cosmic apothecary.
